Nurse Reyn

Story Time!

"Urgh..." Veronica groaned, staring at the thermometer in her hands.

Her temperature was continuing the steady increase it had set for today. The berries, and various medicines Layla had given her, were having little effect on the fever...

It wasn't too bad though. Veronica had dealt with worse.

On the bright side, she wouldn't have to go to work today, and tomorrow was the start of a long weekend. One which she had no plans to spend outside of the house, anyway...

Without warning, the door flew open, slamming against the end of its railing.

"Don't you worry Vee-Vee, Nurse Reyn's here to make you feel better!!!"

Within a blink, the thermometer had relocated to a location somewhere around Reyn's forehead. The impact sent the Lucario flying backwards, with her stupid smile, frozen on her face.

Her body collided with the floor, causing a loud thud to emanate from the hallway.

A fountain of blood spewed forth, from the wound, like a geyser, throwing the thermometer into the air.

Layla, stood beside Reyn, looking down at the girl. Then, she looked down at her own attire...

A matching nurse uniform.

"I better change." Layla muttered to herself, turning around and leaving Reyn to accept her fate.

I was going to make this as part of a comic, but I don't really have all that time to spend on making everything, which is why I wrote that story. It's pretty much what would have been the comic, but with a little bit more.
